Dr. Rebecca Stephens TCM, R.Ac., B.Sc,
Registered Doctor of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncturist

Rebecca is a Registered Doctor of Chinese Medicine (DR.TCM) and Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac.) with over a decade of experience serving the Lower Mainland area of BC.
She holds membership in good standing with the CTCMA (College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists) and ATCMA (Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Practitioners) of British Columbia, Canada.
She completed her 5-year Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine education at Pacific Rim College (Victoria, B.C), PCU College of Holistic Medicine (Burnaby, B.C.), and also holds an Honours B.Sc. from Dalhousie University (Halifax, N.S.).
In addition to her private practice, Rebecca is also currently an Instructor of Acupuncture at the Boucher Campus of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, and is a past instructor of Herbal Medicine at PCU College of Holistic Medicine. Recently, Dr Stephens has also been developing online courses for students internationally.
Rebecca has pursued advanced training in musculoskeletal pain and injury management, fertility and women’s health, addictions, and Facial Rejuvenation acupuncture.

In her practice, Rebecca’s areas of focus lie in the treatment of pain and injury, headaches, gastrointestinal issues, cosmetic acupuncture, stress and depression/anxiety, addictions, endocrine disorders, and women’s health issues. In the scope of women’s health, Rebecca is experienced in addressing fertility concerns, menstrual problems, menopausal symptoms, as well as providing healthy pregnancy support.
With a background in Organic Agriculture, Rebecca’s love for Chinese Medicine developed from a love for farming. She likens the balance of wellness in the body to that of a natural ecosystem; optimum health and productivity can be achieved when the entire system is addressed as a whole, and attention is paid to all the small details that make it work. After being introduced to the holistic theories of Chinese Medicine, which takes into consideration the patient’s constitution and customizes treatment for each unique situation, she found it was a natural fit.
Coupling a passion for the Medicine with a genuine love for helping people, Rebecca strives to help her patients create their best environment in which their ultimate healing potentials can be attained.
Outside of clinic, Rebecca enjoys all things “outdoorsy”, and can be found hiking, fishing, canoeing, camping, gardening, and being an all-round plant nerd.
